Wu Yi to Lead Product-Safety Panel

Beijing has appointed Vice Premier Wu Yi to lead a 19-member cabinet panel that will look into ways to fix the country’s problems with food and product safety. The widening furor over cases of unsafe Chinese-made products has yet to have a noticeable effect on the country’s overall exports, which continue to grow quickly.
