Chung Pak was found in 1980. Its head office is based in Hong Kong, with two factory sites in Mainland China located in Henggan, Shenzhen and Shunde, Guangdong respectively, employing a total of approximately 2,000 professionals. Started as being a battery manufacturer, Chung Pak is now developed to have diversified of Zinc material, metal plastic parts and tools manufacturing in addition to the core battery manufacturing business.

To date, Chung Pak Battery Works Limited is one of the major battery manufacturers, it offers brands of Vinnic, including No Lead added Zinc Chloride Battery, Ni-MH Rechargeable Batteries, Lithium Coin, and Vinergy, including Mercury & Cadmium free Alkaline Battery and Button Cell. All welcomed by customers from all around the world.
For the subsidiaries of the company, Matsuda Metal & Plastic Works Ltd. was set up to provide metal and plastic parts for battery manufacturing. And now, it becomes a supporting unit to manufacture metal, plastic parts and tools as major business. Also, Kyokuto Metal (H.K.) Ltd. which manufactures zinc material for the production of batteries, forms a strong subsidiary team.
In the past 25 years, Chung Pak has invested significantly in advanced machinery to develope environmentally friendly products to expand its existing business and networks. For both OEM and ODM industrial use, including local and overseas toy and household product manufacturers, and to lesser extent, for retail sales in the US and European consumer markets.
