China Coal EnergyPlans $2.85B IPO

China Coal Energy Co. said it plans to sell up to 1.53 billion A shares in Shanghai. The company, which is already listed in Hong Kong, could raise up to about $2.85 billion through the A-share listing, based on the previous day?s closing price of its Hong Kong shares at HK$14.58. China Coal, China?s second-largest listed coal producer by revenue after China Shenhua Energy Co.
